Laura Schmidt

 

Laura Schmidt graduated from the University of York and gained a degree of BSc in Psychology in 2016 and a degree of MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology in 2018. Since September 2019 she has been a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Law Enforcement, University of Public Service. She is currently an associate researcher at the József Eötvös Research Center - Europe Strategy Research Institute (EUSTRAT), having joined in February, 2021. 

In 2022 she spent 4 months at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, USA as a visiting research scholar supported by the Julius Rezler Foundation researching restorative justice in Indiana.

Her research focuses mainly on restorative justice and victim support.
