Vivien Kalas

 

Vivien Kalas is a Research Fellow at the Europe Strategy Research Institute. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary and gained an MSc in Political Science in 2021. Since September 2021 she has been a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Political Science of ELTE. From 2022 she is a lecturer at the Institute of International Studies and Political Science of the Budapest Metropolitan University. She started working at the Europe Strategy Research Institute in January 2020. Her fields of research are the European Council’s decision-making, democracy in the European Union, the questions of rule of law standards, the EU’s education policy and European identity.
